Matahari Department Store shares offered to AIG and Temasek

Jakarta – CVC Capital Partners has negotiated the sale of shares of PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF) to American International Group Inc and Temasek Holdings on refloat rule.

A source as quoted by Kontan said, the parties relating to the negotiations have not been tied to any agreement.

Indo Tambangraya gets contracts worth USD 627 million

Jakarta – PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) has secured sales contracts of 6.27 million tons of coal with a selling price of USD 90 – 100 per ton, or USD 627 million in total. Coal shipments will be made this year.

The company got some sales contracts in the fourth quarter of 2012, reaching 55% of this year sales target of 28.5 million tons, Investor Daily reported.

Sumber Alfaria acquires 41.8% stake of Midi Utama

Jakarta – PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT), Alfamart retail store chain franchisor, has acquired 41.82% stake of PT Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk (MIDI), the administrator of Alfamidi, Alfa Express, and Lawson retail store chains. Consequently, Sumber Alfaria’s shareholding in Midi Utama increased to 54.57% from 12.75%.

A source with knowledge of the transaction, as quoted by Investor Daily said, crossing transaction of Midi Utama shares was held at the price of IDR 800 per share, with a total transaction value of IDR 964.4 billion.

Trada Maritime signs a USD 750 million contract

Jakarta – PT Trada Maritime Tbk (TRAM) has signed a memorandum of understanding and coal transshipment contract with PT Gunung Bara Utama on January 11, 2013. The 10-year contract is worth USD 750 million.

Trada Maritime President Director Danny De Mita as quoted by Investor Daily said, the memorandum of understanding was an initial basis for the company to buy and operate 40 barges and tugs, with an investment of up to USD 200 million.

Telkom to expand into Myanmar this year

Jakarta – PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) or Telkom plans to set up a company in Myanmar this year. The state-owned enterprise is eyeing mobile and fixed line business in the country.

Telkom Finance Director Honesti Basyir as quoted by Kontan said that the company would soon send a team to analyze business prospects in Myanmar. Up to now talks about the expansion plan has occurred between the Government of Indonesia and the Government of Myanmar.

BTN expects 2012 profit reached IDR 1.3 trillion

Jakarta – PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BBTN) or BTN has estimated unaudited profit last year reached IDR 1.3 trillion, up 18.18% year-on-year, driven by boosted interest income and increased efficiency.

The increase in interest income was in line with the increase in the company’s loan growing at above-average loan growth of the banking industry, Kontan reported.

Adhi Karya’s net profit up 16%

Jakarta – PT Adhi Karya Tbk (ADHI) has posted a net profit of IDR 212 billion in 2012, up 16% compared to 2011’s IDR 182 billion. The company’s revenue grew by 13.6% from IDR 6.69 trillion to IDR 7.6 trillion.

Throughout 2012 Adhi Karya has secured new order books worth IDR 10.5 trillion. This year the company targeted new contracts amounting to IDR 16.8 trillion, an increase of 60% year-on-year, Investor Daily reported. The company targets the acquisition of new contracts in the first quarter of 2013 reached IDR 1.8 trillion.

Waskita Karya eyeing IDR 14 trillion new order books

Jakarta – PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT) targets new order books worth IDR 14 trillion this year, up 27.3% compared to last year’s of IDR 11 trillion.

The new contracts in 2013 was consisted of 60% of the projects financed by the state budget and regional budget, 20% of the project financed by the state, and the remaining projects would come from the private sector, Kontan reported.

Bumi Serpong’s asset value grows by 10%

Jakarta – PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) has reported an increase in net asset value by 10% to IDR 46.7 trillion or IDR 2,813 per share.

Yesterday Bumi Serpong share price closed at IDR 1,270, discounted by 55% of the NAV, Investor Daily reported. Bumi Serpong targets revenue to grow by 15% this year to IDR 4.2 trillion, compared to the 2012 estimate of IDR 3.7 trillion.

AKR Corporindo sees revenue up 15%

Jakarta – The revenue target of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) this year is up 10% – 15% to IDR 24.82 trillion – 25.96 billion compared to last year’s revenue of IDR 22.57 trillion–up 20% year-on-year.

AKR Corporindo revenue target this year would still be supported by revenue from the fuel distribution business, Kontan reported.
